I am so happy today, for no reason, other than it's a great day.
On my way into work, I was stuck in bad traffic, my radio station (a non-christian one) sung the first two lines of one of my favorite hymns. For me it melts my heart, relaxs my body & mind and reminds me of what a loving God we have. So enjoy my little hymn for just a moment and enjoy your friday.
1. What a friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
all because we do not carry
everything to God in prayer.
2. Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
3. Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there.

Back to annoyance. Have you heard the term “You find out who your friends are?” Well I’m back in this weird place and alls I can’t think of is I “found out who my friends are”.
When I was in High School I had a TON of friends, I wasn’t popular, but I hung out in different crowds and knew a lot of people. I had a few close friends. Then I had Alex and I found out who my real friends are. No one. It was fine with me, at least I learned early enough in life to where I could move on.
So at 30 I thought I had out grown it. I am still insecure and I am still guarded because I don’t want people to see the real me, or see my faults and walk away. Why open up when others are just going to walk away. I was beginning to feel relaxed about it because all the people who I want to be friends are “Christians”. But of course we are humans. So once again I am looking around saying to myself “who are my friends, where have they gone”. Thankfully there are a few who are still there waving their hands at me trying to get my attention. I am so blessed by these women and David.

Wow, I'm full of it today!!! just a lot going on.
Here's a thought to ponder:
have you ever been expecting something that you knew was going to happen and yet when it does it hurts more than you thought it would?

Watching People React
Life is so funny. I will try and make a long story short so here I go.
So I am moving desks at work for the 2nd time in 2 weeks. A new VP that no one really knew about is moving into the corner office next to me (I need to move in case he wants an admin, that and I don’t have time to support an another vp). So people are stopping by asking about both the corner office and me. So when they get back to their cube they are spreading the news to others around them, then one of them comes to ask me the SAME two questions to verify. AHHHHHHHH I am getting interrupted a million times today. Do they get that I don’t give out gossip, just the facts? So what they are hearing from their coworkers are the facts and are true.
